Drew isn't the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to academics, however he is shown to be exceptionally talented in areas such as basketball, football, and drumming. He is currently suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder after saving his ex-girlfriend, Bianca , from almost being raped by her now dead ex-boyfriend , a former gang member. Following this, he was attacked and stalked by the rest of the gang after putting a restraining order on Anson's fellow gang member, Vince. He is friends with Jake Martin ,Dave Turner , and K.C. Gunthrie . He is in a relationship with Katie Matlin . She helped him get over his post-traumatic stress disorder and then she confessed her eating disorder to him. After Upperclassmen Riley Stavros graduated, he is now the Captin on the Degrassi Football Team.

- He is first seen making out with Katie
- Even though he is not on good terms with Marisol, she gives him a ride to school along with Katie, Maya, and Chase
- While in Marisol's car he is kissing Katie but he locks eyes with Chase
- He is originally jealous of Chase but then offers to get him on the football team
In Episode 103 She Doesn't Have To Know (1)
- It is revealed that he convinced Coach Armstrong to not only let Grade 11s and Grade 12s to try out for the football team
- It is revealed that he works out 4 times a week
- He puts his number in Chase's phone so they can work out together
- It is revealed that Drew is attracted to Chase after Chase takes his shirt off
In Episode 104 She Doesn't Have To Know (2)
- Chase and Drew share their first kiss towards the begining of the episode starting the Chase-Drew relationship
- The two of them almost have sex until Katie calls Drew
- He is seen checking Chase out while he is eating lunch with Katie
- He later makes out with Chase at Katie and Maya's house
In Episode 106 Like a Boss (1)
- He gets the football team to break up the Zig and Maya vs Tori and Tristan fight, he is seen smiling at Chase

- This Episode is the begining of the Eli-Drew friendship after they are partners on a project for Ms Oh's class
- He is seen brainstorming ides for the project with Eli at the Dot
- Chase performs oral sex on him in The Dot bathroom

- He confesses his affair with Chase to Eli
- He is later seen kissing Katie by the Zen Garden
